As “Timmer & van Laagwerken” we produce associative sound explorations by means of our instruments and live electronics.
It’s instant composing, where the instruments are played unconventionally. We aim more at the development of sound and pulse, than at the development of melodic or harmonic sequences and structures.
“Dark Souls” is our second album. The tracks have been recorded in the first 3 months of 2021. The recordings took place in two small home studios with live internet connection, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All tracks are recorded live, without any overdubs.
