As “Timmer & van Laagwerken”, playing bass & drums, we produce associative sound explorations by means of our instruments and live electronics.
It’s instant composing, where the instruments are played unconventionally. We aim more at the development of sound and pulse, than at the development of melodic or harmonic sequences and structures.

A concrete bunker functions as a studio workplace for our experimental and live soundscape projects. The audio recordings make use of the characteristics of the bunker to produce a spatial and unpolished sound-image, where acoustical instruments and electronics organically blend together.

PRESENCE is our first album, recorded on the 6th and 10th of February 2020.
All tracks are recorded live, without any overdubs.
